Asean East Coast Trail 2014~Day1

Hi everyone how are you all lately? I'm sorry that more than a week that I didn't update my blog here! That is because I went to makan angin last week with some travel agent and Media from Brunei! If you do follow my Fb, IG or twitter I'm sure that you know where I go right!

Yes me and the local travel agents and media invited by the Tourism Malaysia~Brunei to Visit Malaysia 2014 together with the Asean Countries travel agents and media too!

We went to the West Malaysia and having fun at the Terengganu.

During the trip we had visited many places together with 9 others countries and 60 new friends!

I never been to the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia so this is my first time! Before I step in to the land there I had some negative comments from some of my friends. Most of them are said that the place is boring, no entreatment, no alcohol due to is a very Islamic state there! Not like at the Kuala Lumpur there go Shopping and entertainment.

With this all comment from my friends I already had no mode to go there but wait..........

Lucky I didn't listening what they all said! Terengganu is not the place as what the people say that BORING! I still find many places is very interesting and the food is nice! The only thing I'm very disappointed which is I didn't bring enough money to there! 3 Days in Terengganu I already spend more than 1.5K ringgit Malaysia there to buy some souvenir and gifts for my friends and family! And one more thing I regret didn't buy home is the Koropok Lekor!! Coz I worries it will rosak after bring back home but one of my friend she bought home and it good and taste yummy :( next time I go I want to tapau 10 package home liao!

Ok lah... don't waste your time.. come follow me I show you my ASEAN EAST COAST TRAIL 2014 from day 1 start!!!

We have 5 person from Brunei to taking part of this Asean East Coast Trial. During the first day we use the MAS to Kuala Lumpur then from KLIA we went to Putrajaya!!

I have heard about this place Putrajaya but never really step inside there! Normally we Bruneian will not going in there lah unless you want to meet up the Malaysia government people there or meeting saja... if not you'll not going there one coz that place mostly is the government office and department!

The first night we checking at The Everly.

After we arrived the hotel first time to do is get out room key and the Goodie Bag!!! Inside it have the travel information, T-shirt, InItinerary, Insect Repellents....

Huh.... Insect Repelent?? I also shock why give that... hehehe lucky I got bring it to the Terengganu if not i'll attack by the nyamok when visit the Lake Kenyir!!!

After checking in the hotel we have a welcome dinner host by the Tourism Malaysia.

Dinner serve!!! But wait first.... as usual lah let the camera eat first..hehehe!!

There is a Shopping Mall next to our Hotel Everly there is call Alamanda shopping centre. Is quite huge oh and have a lot of shop in there! I did not wait until the dinner finish already jalan to the mall shopping there coz this area is closed at 10:30pm. I need to get some thing here so came out early!

I'm not sure when is this shopping mall opened.. it looks like still very new and some of the shop is empty and under renovation!!!

Sayang... cannot spent much time here due the my time is rush if not I can show all more about this place!

Asean East Coast Trail 2014~Day2 (Morning)

After the good rest day one at the Everly Hotel we have to wake up very early the next day to catch the flight to Terengganu. We have two group during the Asean East Coast Trail... We Brunei is in the group one together with the Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia. Everyone of us giving a breakfast pack so we can eat in the bus or at the airport!!!

On the way to the Skypark Terminal we took nearly one hour to reach there and I notice their freeway now are using LED lamppost sudah!!good good good.. energy saving and more brighter again!

Hungry oh..... come lets refill food in our stomach guys!

We use Fireflyz to Terengganu!!

Everyone very tired already because wake up very early... lets have a nap first

Me no matter how I try to sleep also cannot... so I better enjoy my flight lah.. come show you all what I had eat in the plane!

This is Terengganu... I feel like I'm back to Brunei!! The land here almost look same same like my home town!

This is our bus!! Cute right... the Hello Kitty bus is our group one bus for this coming 4days 3 nights here!

It took nearly 2 hours from the Terengganu airport to the Lake Kenyir Resort! Tonight we gonna stay one night here! Lake Kenyir is a man made lake and is a biggest lake in South-East Asia too!

There are not allow to use your car go into the hotel! you have to park your car in the parking lot then use the buggy or the train like this to go into their lobby!

Lake Kenyir Resort is big almost like our Empire Hotel size. It has about 134 villa the cheapest room is around RM500.00. Frankly speaking here... if you are not a Natural lover I think you may not like this place! For me this is my heaven lah.. too bad I my love didn't follow me coz this place is really an awesome place for couple or nature lover! No internet, No citylisation. The air really fresh, the lake view really awesome.

Kenyir Lake is an artificial lake located in the state of Terengganu in northeast Malaysia created in 1985 by the damming of the Kenyir River to create the Sultan Mahmud Power Station. It is the largest man-made lake in South East Asia. The lake borders Kelantan in the west and Pahang in the south. This immense lake also serves as another gateway to Taman Negara. The lake covers 260 km² and contains 340 small islands, which were once hiltops and highlands, more than 14 waterfalls, numerous rapids and rivers. I had ask the tour guide how deep is the lake and he told me is 3km deep! They had try to put a mike tin into the lake and it exploded at 1500meters!!!

After we arrived at the hotel already afternoon.. we all again very hungry right on time the lunch buffer serve!

Here you can enjoy your meal and also enjoy the lake kenyir view~ Too bad the weather are hot now I don't have the mode for that!

After the lunch we heading to our room!! Hehehe this is their Buggy. Is Modified by Kancil!!! steady steady!!!

My room is here... but have to walk down first!!! Yahoo... I got a Lake view Villa. RM640 per night!

This is my Villa... again is all my not sharing....hehehe!

My recommendation if you want to come here please bring you partner don't come alone!! Sayang lah if you come one person and stay here! This place is really nice for a couple and don't want be disturb. Enjoy the sound of Nature.

Awesome view right!!!! The lake is awesome... the size is about 260 km² almost twice of the size of Singapore! The lake is part of the National Park. Not allow to fishing or any water sport activities!!!

The Toilet is almost the size of my bedroom too!! sweet....

Asean East Coast Trail 2014~Day 2 (Afternoon)

After we checking in the Lake Kenyir Resort and the second group countries(Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Philippines and Thailand) arrived at the afternoon we went to the visit the Kenyir Elephant Village.

This place just opened last 2 weeks saja. In jungle of Terengganu there is 1500 elephants this village is the state government project to protect the animal there! we are so lucky to come here and have a look... it still very new and I can see the place still have some part haven't done. This place it not only we can watch the elephant how they spend a Day of Life but also can see the jungle at the top of the canopy. Is have a 5 tower you must walk up.. if not you cannot reach to the end of the canopy to watch the elephants performance there... is a very good excise there and very exciting to walk on the canopy! The height is about 50 meter high above from the ground. If you walk here better don't walk at the side. walk in the middle so you won't dizzy after that!!

They have keep the village like original nature jungle. even the trees is in the meddle of the canopy walk they also didn't cut it off. I think they have done a very good job a place like that for the Elephants!

After we greeted by the Kenyir Elephant Village keepers we here to enter the village. This place has 256-hectare and the land is given by the state government. This place also is the new home for the nine rescued elephants but during the way we out I saw another one elephant on a lorry transporting into the village. The elephant here are different like that our Borneo pygmy elephant.

If you are afraid of high then sorry lah you better don't walk here!!

We are almost the same high with the trees here. This is the tower 2!!!

He is our group one tour guide his name is Jeffery.

As you can see they not only taking care the animal here but also the trees!

That's the Terengganu elephants... Look like same same the Thailand elephants too

Here come the elephants... the host told us this is how the elephants walk in the jungle. The elder one walk in the front then small elephants walk in the middle coz this how they protect the small one prevent the Tiger eat they babies
