Who's Fault??

Yesterday after this photo I posted in my facebook I just knew that there is some people don't know we do have Bear in our country!

Yes of coz we do have bear if not why we have the place in Tutong call Bukit Beruang and in out National Museum also got show you that too. Our Bear is not a big bear as what you see in the TV type stand up can reach 7 feet tall... our's one just like a dog size their name is call Sun Bear or Honey Bear!!! Their also can found at India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam to southern Yunnan Province in China, and on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo.

Strange or not... once got bear tropic come out it continue follow one. That day in FB got people selling a baby bear then again at Merangang one bear hit by car, follow up this bear also hit by car at Mabohai.

This tell me 2 things... one is the bear population not so bad lah still can see many of them here and there, Two is this telling us their land (jungle) getting less and less so now have to come out cari makan with us!!!

Sliced Baked Potato with Cheese And Ham

Every time see people share this makan post in their FB looks like yummy and easy to do. So yesterday I cannot tahan and go try myself. Eh the result I think is not so bad lah... of coz is not as good looking as what the people post in the FB one lah.

I just simply do saja.. not really go think how it was suppose to cook. First I just boil the potatoes then sliced them and make sure don't slice too much lah... just about 3/4 like that ok enough.

Recommend boil a bit longer with the XL size potato!

If you want to make the potato to look nicer after baked you can put a pit of Minyak Sapi on the patato skin. Then you put in luncheon meat or ham or bacon is up to you lah and then sprinkle a bit of salt then baru you put the cheese on top. I use mozzarella cheese!!!

Next step.... pre heat the oven first before you baked your potatoes!!

Since my potatoes already cooked so I don't bake it long... just want to make the cheese melt and a little burn!!! I set for 200 degree C and bake it for 20 minutes! But if you like your cheese to look more darker try to bake it longer lah!!

After my potatoes cooked suddenly I have fusion idea which is mix japanese style. I put some japanese mayonnaise and seaweed on top of it... result Not Bad!!!!

Is really easy to cook not need to school high high also can make one at home. Now is school holiday try it with your kids at home and have fun with them also not bad!! Hope you all try it and love it too!

I love to watch the cheese melt when every time I bake things with cheese!!

saw this a very good maths quiz so I share in my facebook page let people guess what is the answer.

come out some people get it right but the answer they give got many version lah. Got people give 6, got some is R some even give the answer is way out of the space one!

That one will be a little bit hard to get the right answer lah... not unless you are a 4x4 lover lah!

Monkey See Monkey Do

Yesterday bring wife and second daughter to try my childhood favorite dishes at Foo Kim Seng I was really surprise to see my daughter she take her mother iphone and snap on her food!

The result of the photo not bad but just a little bit of her finger in the bottom left was taken too.

Hehehe.. maybe she see the daddy and mommy do that every time when the food arrive so now she also know how to do!!

So this is telling me...What monkey see what monkey do. Mmmmm maybe she will be the youngest food blogger in the world next time hahaha...

First Time Eat Empurau

What is Empurau??

Once try one time you will never forget in your whole life that's is why in Chinese name is call 忘不了 Wang Bu Liao a.k.a Never Forget!!!!

Why you will never forget?

I think there is 2 reason why you'll never forget lah... one is the meat it has a special taste which is fish only love to eat from a nut also the belly meat very oily. Another reason never forget is the prices!!!

This Empurau fish cost minimum $RM800.00 per kg!!! So for sure your first Empurau will cost you more than a thousand dollars for a fish!!! How can you forget about this fish that cost you so much money.....

I did mention before in my blog I'm not a fish lover.... for me every fish is all same to me!!! But honestly this Empurau the taste are really different from other fish. Empurau is a fresh water fish but it has a sea water fish's meat texture. Totally not stink at all and is very oily.

This fish only have in Borneo has its habitat in clean/clear fast moving streams and eat ‘Buah Kabang’ or Engkabang and that's it why is has a unique aroma with their meat!! Fisherman have to use sampan to go very deep into the river and fish it. Once they caught it strength away have to come out and sell it coz they don't have ice too keep it fresh must hurry come back and sell.

The Empurau we had last weekend is one of our friend he got connection from Sarawak once got it in the first place chill and airflow to Miri and bring in back!!!

Glad to have a change to try it once.... if next time can try on more time lagi best lah

How to Stop Escalator?

Let's say there is an emergency situation at one of the escalator and it need to stop immediately and do you know how to do it? The first thing in your mind you are looking for a red button and the bottom to stop right?? Yes of coz that is one of the way too but do you know there is a way is more faster and easy but may not be for all type of the escalator!!

All you have to do is just kick the Rubber Bar at the bottom of the escalator hander!!! Seldom people know that also can for emergency stop one. So now you know already next time go shopping mall don't try it ok.... Just keep it in your mind for next time when there is an emergency lah!!!

That is the rubber you need to kick it and stop the escalator!!!

Anggrek Desa Swimming Pool

Last week my eldest daughter told her mum that she want to learn swimming and my wife said she don't know how to swim.. you have to ask your daddy!!
Oh... now I have a question if my wife and my daughter both fall in the water so who I have to rescue first??? Jialat lah this type of question how to answer oh.... lucky my wife didn't come out this question and ask me!
So before this thing happen I think I have to teach either one know how to swim first. Before teach my kids to learn how to swim first have to look for a swimming pool lah of coz.
So I went to pool that I really really really long long time no go already which is the Anggrek Desa Swimming Pool... If I not wrong I guess I got almost 25 years already didn't come here. When I was a young boy my mum every week sure 1 to 2 times bring me here. And some time like school or puasa holiday me and my kampong gang can play here from morning until evening.

So I bring my kids come here and check it out see how is the condition. I think I like the place now better than before. The entry fees still the same, Children 50 cents Adult $1.00. Only not the same is the restaurant the yummy fried chicken, nasi lemak, burger, ice-cream don't have anymore!!!
If used to be the best in town way before we have KFC, Mcd or Jollibee.
And now there also have special day for female which is Tuesday start from 2pm-6pm and again 7pm-9pm!!
I guess is time for me to find back my Speedo in the closet..hehehhe don't know still can fit or not hahaha!!! I guess for safety reason I better buy another one if not later like Mr.Bean in the pool hahaha

Most of the kids for sure ever pee pee in this pool before!!! Lol I also did last time hahaha

I really miss the Fried Chicken and their Nasi Lemak!!! Don't know where is the old owner now... If can buy his recipe fir sure I want to buy and reborn it!!!

Where Can Find A Video Player?

If you still having this video player I really want to ask where you still can rent the video tape here. Don't say the video tape lah.. even the Laser Disc also no way you can see people are using now!!

This is my daughter Bahasa Melayu paper from school. It has to connect the word and the picture so when I read it just realize one is Video. Wow.... I also really long time haven't see this thing for many years already....hehehe if the question is Laser Disc I think more worst. Then again I ask my daughter have to ever see one of this Video Player? And she said Yes... in the paper lah!! Lol...

About this Video Player back in the 80's it is a hot stuff... if you don't have one at home you are outdate!!! I remember back in the time we rent the tape at Seri batu satu the Golden Lady. That time still got package one... $30- $50 or $100 for one month. My mother she always rent the Hong Kong tv series to watch...and me of cos is cartoon lah.

Think about it Video Player really last quite long... Longer than LD. Really have a nice memories with this gadget! Back in the early 80's when this player arrive in my living room is was a size like a 3 in 1 printer then slowly at late 90's baru become this small!!

Back in the oldies as a kid must know how to use it...not just know who to play it but also must know how to Rec it too. If you ask a kid now what is REC for sure they don't know one!! Rec is record lah..... Some time we also need to set the timer and let it Auto record out favorite tv show. Me always recording the Macgyver from RTB!!

Blue And Green

This is rare and I just notice it... This year the old road tax has 2 type color one is blue and one is green.

Normally is one years one color. How I realize it is I was looking at my car road tax gonna expire soon with the red color. Then I looking at my friend's car road tax his is blue... then I started curious coz I remember my Hulkjero road tax is green color. Then I asking people yes some of then also got blue and green.

This is really rare got like that lah can keep it for collection liao hehehe
