November Rain Coming Oh....

Fast oh..... I was listening my iPod song and heard this G&R song November Rain just notice 2 more days november is coming. Another one more month December coming and X'mas, NYE also come too.

Wah fast lah... Every year my weight and ages is gaining only bank account the money still the same!!

Anyway..... about the November Rain I just notice the weather forecast this few day really everyday got rain one oh. Night time can rain lah but not at the day time especially on the afternoon want to pick up kids from school oh. Susah lah for the parents like us one like having war one. cari parking, taking umbrella, carry bags, crossing road and get wet.

Aiyoyo.... look at the forecast weather like that really no mood already!

Extra Charge For Take Away Food!!!

If I no go tapao that day I also don't know now the take away already got extra charge us now. Some place is 20 cents some is 25 cents but I also hear some even charge for 50 cents depends what type of the containers!! 

Due to the new rules all restaurant are not allow to use the styrofoam so many restaurant has no choice to use the plastic container. I like the idea no Styrofoam but didn't realize at the end of the day we customer have to pay for the extra money for take away the foods!! Eh... now think about it next time better just sit at the restaurant and eat are better lo... enjoy the service, aircon, tv this is all for free and worth more than 20 cents!! 

Now I remember last time when started no Plastic Day we also like that... customer always the one who need to pay the extra money for the convenient.

Hehehe I think next time we will back into the old skool using the metal 3 layer rice container go tapao again!

This is what we call cycle of life lah... Last time use bicycle then use car and again now go back use bicycle.

Cost more and rice less.... At the end we customer is the victims!!!

This cost me 25cents... better wash is and reuse if not waste my money!!

The New Tyre Air Pump at Shell Station

Me long time no go shell station to pump my tire air pressure already so few days ago I notice my tire like a bit poncit so I went to the shell station near my kampong at the Tumasik there then I just notice that they have a new version! No more like the rotate type after you use have to rotate back to zero of the air pressure!!! 

This new one is touch panel now... just touch the + or - to set the pressure you want to pump for your tyre!!! Then the function also no more the sound Ting Ting Ting.... to tell you your tire is pumping air! Once you have put the nozzle wait and wait until you hear the sound Beep Beep Beep 3 times that's mean done!!!

Is very easy to use lah but still some people prefer the old type one coz already use that since from last century now suddenly change people may not used to it lah!! 

Just need to slightly touch the + and - not need to press hard hard one!!!

My Childhood Favorite Dishes!!!

We used to have a lot of good food here in Brunei during the 80's so if you want to hunt back the taste now is not that easy. FYI back in the old day we have a lot of nice restaurant the chef cook very nice food but now is hard to find them back. The chef last time mostly they car from Hong Kong or West Malaysia but now no more. 

I don't know you all still remember this restaurant or not they do have nice food during that time like Rasa Sayang, Yi Yu, 7Up, Lion, Lai Xiang Luo, Princess Inn, Sian Er(swan restaurant) Prawn House and many many more..... those are the place last time have very good dimsum and I remember at night finish tuition like to go gadong there eat supper!!! Even at the Brunei Hotel there their restaurant last time the fried Kuey Teow wet seafood is the best in town!!!

Indeed.... now what to look back the old taste is not easy anymore....

When I was still primary school my mom always bring us to Batu Satu the 7Up there eat lunch. I remember I used to like their one special dishes is call Sweet Corn Prawn rice!!!

Basically is like a sweet corn soup with a deep fried prawn with rice. I got almost 25 years didn't eat this already at until now I have see this in any restaurant's menu. This is one of the Hong Kong's dishes after those Hong Kong's chef balik Kampong already hardly see this anymore. The Original they are using grouper call sweet corn grouper rice (粟米斑腩飯) . I really miss it that day so I went to one of my friend's restaurant at Gadong Foo Kim Seng (next to Bobby Electric) there and I told the boss can he cook this for me and he say Easy Job lah..

After the food display in from of my and I had my first bite I feel like sit on a time machine back into 80's!!! Wow... really don't have this taste in my mouth liao feel really awesome lah!!

I want to teach my daughter to love this dishes too... is a very nice dishes for kids and for sure they like it too!!  Thanks for the Foo Kim Seng boss he let me have this once again!!

I really interested to get one of this Bluetooth device. Is for connecting you old sound system which don't have a wireless connection one. Like example my old computer speaker I can use this to connect my iphone and play music!!

Dictionary Fail Lol

I found a discovery of the year 2014 which is my dictionary apps I type "Bruneian" It came out an unexpected answer!!! At first I thought is will come out as People of Brunei Darussalam something like that... But not at all!! You sure surprise after to see at the end of the video here!!

I Also Cannot Play With Dog Too!!

This week hot tropic is all about touching dog. If you go Tweeter check the hot tropic in South-East Asia region you'll see Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei all tweet/retweet about touching dog!!

Ok lah I also don't want to lose too today also come and share about my touching dog story lah!!

Me used to love dogs too but don't know why recently this 2 years I suddenly allergy to them, especially for those dog which long fur. Last time I totally don't have this problem.. I can touch, grooming and take shower for them but now once they near me for few feet about few minutes I'll started sneezing many many time.... then my face start feel itchy then the worst part is coming... my eye for sure start itchy, red, swollen and hot!!! last last my face like got many small misquoter bite there!!!

I have to use a wet cold towel to cover my face then I feel much better. 

At first I don't know is allergy coz I have never like that before I tot maybe is the place dusty and cause my eye like that then I have few more time same same like that every time is playing with my niece's dog then I baru realize I am allergy now!!!

Now I even go my friend's house if got cat I also keep a distance to avoid kana again!! 

Not sure got medicine to eat or not lah so far I only know to use ice water to stop it, if you know got ubat for that please share info with me.. Thanks!

MY15 MITSUBISHI LANCER EX 1.6L MIVEC

@Nomadic Lion Is Coming To Town

Eh tell you something here ah.... if you see a guy walking on Brunei road wearing like a Jamaica flag shirt you don't think he is crazy one why walk on the road under the hot sun. Don't play play oh... He already walk all the way from Sabah until Brunei and then continue to Sarawak. The journey will take about 2500km nowalready walked more than 900km from Tawau to Beaufort and will soon be entering Brunei. So now maybe already at Lawas. If every thing goes smooth smooth them maybe by 1st November will be arrive to Brunei. So if you see this man walking alone the road there horn bee bee to support and welcome him lah... I think if I see him I'll stop by road side and give him a high five!!

They are suppose have 2 person one but another guy from Indonesia balik kampong already so from 2 days ago his ( David Atthow) will walk alone loh!! Are you wondering why they want to do that? The reason is to raise awareness about local positive environmental and humanitarian projects.

It was a wonderful week but also very tiring go here go there until I also forget my lunch. Anyway I really feel great after help a family solve their food problem.

I really never expected so many people come and help me too to give their donation. I don't think can take all the credit I just share the story of the lady Anna she need help and post in my fb.  I can't make she family happy with out your all help.

The story it goes like that one... a lady name anna she text me asking where she can look for  the department or some NGO charity group. She was in no so good financial condition now so seeking for their help. So how her husband just finish operation came home from hospital. I do know there are some department do that but I was thinking why have to wait for them to come. Until the money arrive don't know how many days she family have to suffering some more so I post in my fb ask everyone donate a little food take from their kitchen. Ended up their go to buy foods from the supermarket... In 2 days of collect the food my car is full loaded almost cannot see the back of the car... 

Just the white rice got 10 bags already so you can imagine how many kilo food in my car. I think now the foods can last them at least 2 to 3 months lah. 

Not just I collect food but also a little bit of cash for them temperately can buy some vege and electric recharge card lah!!

Of coz donation is not a long term plan lah... the most important things is her husband recover fast fast and find more money to support his family.

Hope the next time I see Anna's family their all can have a better life from now lah!!
