Acer is launching new models of laptops & Multimedia PCs which will come pre-installed with Microsoft's latest Windows 8 operating system. And Concepts Computer with the co-operation of Acer is proud to be the first in Brunei Darussalam to launch these Windows 8 devices (9 New Models available now!) at their Kiulap and Gadong branches.
The 9 models are Acer Aspire One 756, Aspire One 725, Aspire E1-421, Aspire V3-471G, Aspire V3-571G, Aspire V5-431, Aspire V5-471G, Acer M5-481PTG and Acer Aspire M3985. Each device will either be powered by an Intel or AMD processor and running Windows 8 64-bit.
The new Windows 8 operating system is a complete redesign and is unlike anything Microsoft has released before. New features and functions in the new Windows 8 operating system includes faster start-up through the new “Hybrid Boot” mode, the ability for Windows 8 Enterprise users to create live USB versions of Windows known as “Windows-To-Go” and a new lock screen with a clock and notifications.
Windows 8 will also have native support for USB 3.0, this added native support will allow for faster and more stable data transfers with speeds of up to 5 Gigabit per second. Windows 8 will also provide heavier integration with online devices which can be used to access services and synchronize application and settings between devices. And the online integration will allow users access to the Windows App Store which has apps that allows for greater integration with other services; for example, the People app can connect to a variety of different social networks and services (such as Facebook), while the Photos app can aggregate photos from services such as Facebook and Flickr.
And with the integration of the latest Windows 8 operating systems with Acer devices, we can expect to do even more. We can expect sleeker designs from Acer, with better performances hitting all the important benchmarks and improved graphics powered by Nvidia to enable all creative endeavors. Acer has also fully integrated the speedy inputs and file transfers of the USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 connection protocols, instant wake in just 1.5 seconds with Acer Always Connect helping you get online in 2.5 seconds, and the ability mobile whenever, wherever all day with an expected 8 hours of power in one charge.
