Yes this is what we do last Sunday at the Radisson Hotel, Beach Bunch International Roundtable 2013. Special invite the speaker from USA, UK, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand come to Brunei. It was a very good event and I had learn something new from the speaker and also see some shocking pictures. Hope we can do more this kind of events and invite more speakers next year... So this it the last event Beach Bunch have this year... And next year hoping that more people can come to join us especially the Beachathon 5km marathon on the beach!

DEREK SINGLETON Resort Services Manager Torbay Council, Devon, United Kingdom worked for local authorities for 25 years and is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Joined Torbay Council in 1999 as an operational beach manager based on one of the larger beaches of Torbay. Working to help the organization reach its vision to achieve trash free seas through awareness of the issue and building a movement to stop trash at the source. She manages a volunteer network of 150 U.S. and International coordinators that lead cleanup campaigns in their communities to address pollution prevention and encourage individual action. Sonya is responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with volunteers, NGOs and corporate partners for participation in the world’s largest volunteer e ort for ocean health.
N. Sivasothi speaker from Singapore a.k.a. ‘Otterman’ has been immersed in mangroves for research, education and conservation at the National University of Singapore since the late 80’s. Presently focused on undergraduate teaching and research, he and his students undertake zoological explorations of endangered freshwater crabs, mangrove crabs, horseshoe crabs and muskippers, common-palm civets, mousedeer, wild boar, leopard cats and of course, otters. Fiercely passionate about environment education, he has been coordinator of Raffles Museum Toddycats!, a nature/environment volunteer group since the 90's and then the national coordinator of the International Coastal Cleanup Singapore. An active advocate of internet use for resource sharing, communication and digital literacy, he manages numerous blogs on nature, museums, volunteering and cycling.

Presentation by Sam Judd of Sustainable Coastline, Sam Judd is the current Young New Zealander of the Year, is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Sustainable Coastlines Charitable Trust. During his time at the helm of Sustainable Coastlines they have motivated over 26,000 people to remove more than 800,000 litres of rubbish from the coast and educated over 70,000 people in person. Their educational programs have demonstrated exceptional success with regards to positive behavioural change within school, business and offender groups.
Christopher Jacobson is the State Lifesaving Officer for Surf Life Saving Tasmania in Australia, the state’s peak body for coastal safety and aquatic rescue. His responsibilities involve setting strategic direction for development and implementation of Lifesaving services in Tasmania, as well as managing 22 clubs. Chris is the current Australian Lifesaver of the Year, and represents Tasmania on the Australian Lifesaving Standing Committee, as well as various lifesaving sub-committees at a National Level. Chris is the chair of the State Lifesaving Committee, a State Trainer and Assessor, as well as a State Duty Officer which involves organising and coordinating aquatic search and rescue operations.
